Educate the American Public

Americans of all backgrounds passionately support our men and women in uniform. We want them to get on airplanes first, thank them with discounts and parades and tear up when we see parent-child reunion videos. We sincerely want the best for the people who defend our freedom.

But the vast majority of Americans don’t know that one way we do NOT support our troops is that our government policies don’t cover the costs of military families who need medical treatments or adoption to build their families. Actually, the current military health care policy is written explicitly to NOT cover medical assistance to military partners who are trying to have children while one member is away on deployment.
